Thank you so much for thinking of Candy Cane Corner this holiday season!

There are many ways to be involved in Candy Cane Corner, from volunteering to hosting a donation drive to collecting new items for the store.

To determine whether being involved is the right fit for you and/or your group, we have prepared a list of the most frequently asked questions below.

What is Candy Cane Corner?

Candy Cane Corner is a holiday store that The Road Home and Volunteers of America, Utah operate. Clients served at each agency can receive holiday gift items for their families during the holiday season.

Who can utilize Candy Cane Corner?

Families and individuals who receive services at either The Road Home or Volunteers of America, Utah, are eligible to receive Candy Cane Corner vouchers.

Please confirm your eligibility for Candy Cane Corner with your case manager.

How can I volunteer?

Candy Cane Corner needs volunteers to help sort donations, stock the shelves, and shop for clients.  Volunteer sign-ups will live in November.

Where is CCC located?

Candy Cane Corner will be operating out of the Utah Symphony Utah Opera Production Studio Rehearsal Hall located on 336 N 400 W. 

When is CCC open?

Candy Cane Corner is open from December 3rd to December 10th for volunteers and donation drop offs.

When can I drop off my donations?

Donations are being accepted now until December 10th! Please check our donation page to learn more about what locations are accepting donations.

What can I donate?

All donations must be new and unwrapped items.

Our top needs include gift cards in $5, $10, and $20 increments to stores including Wal-Mart, Target, and Visa, non-violent children’s toys, headphones (both wireless and wired), make-up (individual items and sets), puzzles (all-ages), craft items for teens, sports balls, skateboards, and scooters.
